Wow, what a busy couple of months we’ve had! We haven’t had a chance to blog about all the amazing events we’ve had – but we wanted to share pictures from our first ever family concert at The Reading Bug– Andy Z! And what a success it was! We had the whole store completely packed (you can tell from the pictures)– we even had to move shelves out of the way to make sure we had enough room for all of Andy’s tie-dyed fans. He had all of our regular customers – and a lot of new ones – dancing up a storm in our event room! I think all of the parents, kids and staff were completely worn out after dancing, singing and playing all morning!
If you didn’t make it, Andy Z has an amazing repertoire of new songs as well as old favorites. He sings as he leads you through a magical town called Andyland, where you meet his friends like Squirrelly Squirrel and Bizzy Bee. Andy will also be performing with his band in Redwood City on May 8th, and guess who will be singing with him? Our very own Lauren Savage– owner and storyteller at The Bug! Check out his website for more information: www.andyz.com. You can also pick up his CDs in our store now and even book him for your birthday party at The Reading Bug!
Thanks Andy Z, we had a great time! Hope to have you back soon!

Hello you lovely Reading Bug people! I had an absolutely fantastic time playing at your store, and would love to come back again. I have to say, this is one of my favorite stores in the area, and I’ve been to and played at a lot of them.
Also, can’t wait have Lauren share her vocal talents with us at the Mothers Day Weekend show Saturday May 8 (11am) in Courthouse Square, RWC. Arts & Crafts, free concert, what more could you ask for? Come join us. Thanks again to Lauren and the Reading Bug for everything!
